Starting October 1st, the PTA's weekly Tiger Talk newsletter will be sent on Sundays at 5:30PM through ParentSquare.
 
It will still be the same newsletter you rely on for important PTA info, event updates, and links, just delivered via ParentSquare a half hour earlier each week.

We know the volume of posts on ParentSquare can be overwhelming, but there are several built-in features to help make it easier to navigate.  Our top two tips:

Tips for Navigating Parent Square

• Customize Notifications: choose when and how to receive notifications for new (non-time sensitive) posts.  Opt for Instant notifications to receive all messages in real-time or choose Digest to receive one single message at the end of the day that includes all posts from that day.  You can also select if you want to receive notifications via text, email, and/or app.  Pick the settings that work best for you!  Click here to learn how to change your notification settings.

• Filter by Classes/Groups: this is very helpful if you are searching for something in particular - maybe you just want to review posts from your classroom teacher or only want to look back at posts from the PTA.  Click here to learn how to view posts by specific class or group.  Tiger Talk will be posted in the group named: PTA - MUR ALL GRADES.  

Why the switch? Posting on ParentSquare has many benefits, including:

• Making it easier to refer back to previous Tiger Talks when needed

• Allowing users to view information in the language of their choice (automatic translation in 100+ languages!)

• Ensuring new families and staff members receive Tiger Talk as soon as they join Murray

• Streamlining how communication is delivered from the school, district, and PTA
